Default Interior dimensions, 1990 G20

Hi, I am new to the forum

I am looking to buy a LWB G20 cargo van to transport motorcycles and I was wondering if someone could help me with the measurements of the cargo area?

Also, what is the load capacity?

Thanks

a. load capacity depends on the build sheet. I have a G20 which is a 1 ton. But they can range from 1/2 to 1 ton depending.

b. And I have the LWB but there is a WB longer than the one I got. If the van is at least 15 feet then you ll have enough for 2 bikes, 1 ramp, fasteners and your tools. So almost all G20s will be good for you but a G10 may be too short.

Thanks, I am referring to the body style pictured below, which I believe is the 125in wheelbase.

So are we talking about 9 feet of cargo space behind the front seats (approx)?
What about the width, 6 feet? Height about 5.5-6 feet also?

Where are you in Hollland? I have the same van but with seats and windows. Your measurements are right but about 4 ft from the floor to the roof and 5ft wide.

I am in Italy. Must say I was hoping it would be a bit roomier.

I dont know...mine is big enough to sleep in after driving on a 700 mile trip. Plus this is pretty much bigger than anything offered in Europe minus the Mercedes Sprinter for a taller roof. But they wont come with the same towing capabilty being 4 cylinder diesels.

I usually use a Fiat Ducato, and even smallest one is bigger than the G20 (AFAIK).

The cargo area in the Ducato is 100in long, 70in wide and 62in high. If the Chevy can match that I'll be satisfied.

Joe: Your G-20 is a little longer then mine. Height in the cargo area from floor to the roof is "54" 4.6ft and I have a
thin sheet of plywood underneath carpet which both are on top of the ribbed rubber cargo mat.

Width varies because of the wheel wells 5.5-6ft sounds about right from the wheel wells up to the front seats.
