Hi,
Last winter we rebuild our transmission on our 1991 g20 (Beauville) van since then i am missing the over drive. When i am driving up 100km/h and move from overdrive to regular drive no change in the RPM.
Fresh filter when rebuild the tranny and fluid level is up . It been working before i used a different tranny in the meantime of the rebuild.
Running out of idea why.
I did read that maybe a faulty temper sensor may cause problem is that true.

Is the TV cable set properly?

1991 is before electronic control of the transmission, so sensors and the like won't have any effect on it.

 

not sure about it. How can i find this out or set it proper?

I don't know how you could even rebuild the transmission and not understand the TV cable or how it works.

 

TV cable should be set with foot pedal. If shop set it by opening throttle with hand,then it may have been overset. Remove doghouse, mash tv adjustment button. Floor the pedal,release button. Easy peasy
