I have a 1997 2500 G van. 350, Autotrans. Went to start my van this AM and it starts and idles rough and stalls- It kinda sputters and runs-on and stalls? I did smell a faint odor of gasoline?This occurred approx. 8 months ago and I replaced the cap and rotor. Hadn't had the problem until today. I will add It sat in my yard for 2-3 days (the lawn is cut-not overgrown) and it has rained failry hard. Approx. 4 months ago I replaced the cpu. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the problem. I do remember last time this occurred (before the cap and rotor) I would have to lift the hood and just let it "dry out" and then it would start.
Any assistance would br greatly appreciated!

get it running, then go around with a spray bottle with water. Spray the cap, all the wires, and coil. Watch for sparks or see what causes the engine to sputter then replace it
