2014 GMC Savana 2500 4.8L - Brake Pull
Help! We are at a loss and are hoping someone has maybe encountered this issue before. This van has a wicked / scary pull to the right when applying brakes at a high rate of speed, but only after brakes have heated up. We have already done the following, and sometimes twice to be safe, and this still eludes us. We have changed front and rear pads / rotors /calipers, we have changed all four brake flex hoses, we have done multiple alignments, multiple rotations and a new set of tires, an ABS pump, a right front wheel bearing, replaced pitman arm, idler arm and bracket, inner and outer tie rods. Replace all four shocks and ground strap. Rear leaf springs are not broken or saggy, front control arm bushings all intact with no play, frame is not bent.....what are we missing? Again wicked pull to the right when hard braking from highway speeds, but only after brakes heat up....
All four calipers have been changed..twice, all hoses have been changed with OE hoses, and parking brake was backed all the way off to make sure that wasn't the culprit, even went so far as to pull abs fuse so that did not interfere and pull is still there, I also forgot to mention, that when it does jerk to the right it feels like it is coming from the rear end.
