Default Bought New 84 Chevy G20 Van

Needed tires.
Went to Costco bought 4 new Michelin 235-75-15. Sweet Deal.

They installed three of them. One wheel stud drivers side rear spins so the could not remove the lug. Costco will not even attempt mechanical work of any kind. They said bring it back after the faulty stud is replaced and they will complete the job.

Any suggestions on how to remove the stud, so we can remove the lug nut, so we can take of the wheel and brake drum and get to the stud so we can remove and replace it.

If you know of a shop in Hemet or Temecula, CA area that can help, let me know.

Bob

I would try heating up the lug nut with a torch after letting some penetrating oil soak in for a bit. Failing that drill out the middle of the stud.
