I'm a new owner of a chevy van 1981 and I would like to receive some help by identifying the exact engine model, from what I've been reading around it's a 350 v8, on the other hand I would like to receive some guidance in where to obtain the owners manual and the best place where to find some parts.
On the other hand I would like to know if the back seat if this model came with recliner as I thought that you can convert it in bed but seems that is not.

You should be able to use a VIN decoder online. If my memory serves correct yours should be a 17 digit vin, which makes the 8th digit the engine code. Also emission tags etc. under the hood will indicate the year and engine. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum. Enjoy the new ride!

 

The bench that folds into a bed was a conversion van option, I don't believe they ever made one factory.
