1998 express 5.7 throwing 0340 code
replaced cam position sensor and crank position sensor
still getting code
getting misfire in engine when cruising at a steady speed
don't notice anything during acceleration or deceleration

maybe check connections and wiring, make sure it's good. i've also HEARD a blown fuse could cause this. also defective computer might.

 

checked wiring and connections.stumped, took to local shop .
turned out to be the computer.
