Engine to Chassis Ground Wire Location?
Anyone have clues to where the engine to chassis ground wire is located... 2016 Express 2500 van.
I'm doing a high output alternator installation and need to beef up that wire.
Thanks!!!

@SkookumB I agree with @oldchevy , you can add one wherever you want to. On my 2002 5.7L Vortec the ground cable from the battery goes to the passenger side front of the block, and then another cable goes from that same point on the black right to the chassis on the passenger side. I just replaced all of my battery cables, and the chassis ground cable, a couple of months ago while chasing a couple of other problems.
im trying to remove my ground wire to replace it . the ground wire is one continuous wired connection in series, which goes thru a battery current sensor before attaching to battery . im having a hard time accessing one particular bolt on the motor its very hard to get to and i cant figure out how to access . the reason why i don't just run a different wire is because the current sensor will not be able to read and gauge if it not going the the battery current sensor

awesome idea , trying figure out best way . as long as the end goes thru the battery current sensor located about 12inches from battery post i should be good .
the reason im changing this is because im upgrading my alternator 255amp and i need thicker gauge all way thru the ground system . so i plan to so this with 0/1 awg all way thru front to back if i can and to the frame and fender .
need the extra amps for music and lights .

@lt3500van , I like where this is going!!! ------------->>>> "need the extra amps for music and lights".
Seriously though, you could ground anywhere on the frame. Either to an existing bolt or drill and tap a new hole somewhere. You could always run a new current sensor / gauge too, particularly since you're planning on increasing the draw quite a bit.
