I was upgrading the wiring system because I'm running lots of amps on my van (aftermarket radio and amplifier, extra lights and a few gadgets), so I ended up running 3 separate ground frame to buss bar, fender to buss bar , motor to buss bar and connected original ground lines in addition . because of the battery current sensor, i used a bus bar to combine all neg to go thru the current sensor (2017 van) and to the battery . im waiting on my alternator its late , i will let you know how it goes .

Ok i had a hold up they sent wrong alternator , so all i did was add 0/1 guage wire to body , chasis and motor all 0/1 guage into a buss bar that was isolated from body . Then one o/1 awg wire thru the sensor and to the battery its been on two days works good . No problems so far . Now that i realize i have a battery sensor been watching how it effects the alternator output and how it changes depending on situation . Initial start up always 14..5 or 14.6 then it slows down to the 13.8 on highway . And if you park long time it goes down 12.8 . It seems that its gas mileage and battery maintenance that they worried from what i have read it about even the ecu reads and monitors this system . Hope this helps i have 2 amplifiers and an after market system gps internet and on board small inverter .

The chasis has many holes just pic one clean and screw in , the motor i used the starter as the connecting point and the fender all three to the battery , if have battery currebt sensor use a buss bar and end 1 0/1 guage thru the sensor to battery
