Absolutely it could be only a matter of replacing the bulb.

Hi

one thing I just learned is that the OBD2 port is powered by the same fuse as the cigar lighter !

so if you pull that fuse your OBD2 reader will not work .....ummm

So I am going to run a fused 12v wire to the pin on the OBD2 plug

Can you post the drawing of the OBD2 plug / pin out

Hopefully I am the only one that has this problem , but at least there is some info for the next guy
