how to override interior lights from auto shut off???
my work van is a 2006 chevy 3500 6.0L its a pain when the interior lights go off after the short period of time when the doors are open... does anyone know how to override it so they will stay on while the doors are open or if i have the cab switch turned on?? thanks!

dash board light adjustment
Are you able to turn the dash board light **** all the way to the brightest and then a bit more to lock on the interior cabin light?

there are two switches ...
On my 2003 the door activated lights go out after about 10 minutes (?) as a safety to save the battery.
I do not know why the cabin light goes off if it is locked ON. I must admit that I've never left it on that long. What happens if you leave the head lights ON and lock the cabin light ON?

Yup, it should stay on for 10-15 minutes, then shut off even if you have the switch turned to on to save battery. MAYBE, your battery is getting back and it isn't showing enough power and it is shutting off. Without starting the van, check the voltage of the battery with a meter. It should be about 11.6-12v I believe. Anything below that and I bet the computer is trying save the juice.
Just a guess though.
