I need to change my winter tires on my Chevy Van G20 V8 5.7L to summer tires or all-season tires.

Actually, I have :
235x75x15 front
225x75x15 rear

Is it normal to have different sizes between front and rear ?

Which size would fit best ?

not normal I have 235/75R15 on mine ,, running a lt tire with it being a heavy conversion van

 

Check the door sticker. I believe the proper size for your van is the 235 75 15. Same all round, but I cannot remember if the tire pressure is the same front to back. Double check.
Make sure the load rating is at least up to the minimum required.

no you don't have to as long as it is the same size across the axle it is safe to run 2 different sizes,, a lot will do a bigger tire in the back for a raked look. However then you can not do a 4 wheel rotate. and I buy my tires at Discount tire for the free balance and rotation for the life time of the tires especially when buying 4

 

If you run wider tires than the sticker on the rears, you are also running longer tires, so your speedo will be off. Eg 235 on front and 245 on back is 3% larger in circumference. Alternatively, if you run 235 on back and 225 on front then your fronts are undersized, and may increase brake wear. Tire will have more leverage against brakes.....not too much, but why bother.
As you mentioned about the 4 wheel rotation, that is more important than looks.

Inside the door, sticker information gives : 225x75x15 .
So if I change tires, I will put 4 tires with 225x75x15 dimensions.

Actually, I have 4 winter tires :
- front : 235x75x15
- rear : 215x75x15

Ok it s stupid ... I don t know why these settings, maybe the previous owner found a good offer

 

For years, the 225 were the standard size. On my 95 g20 I ran 235's as I like the look better. However there will be a slight increase to your speed vs what the speedo says.
215 are too small.
If it were my van, I would buy 2 new snows to match the 235's, (as long as the 2 you have are good...) and buy 4 good 235 all seasons. I like the michelen ltx. They are bulletproof... You are well within the max 3% reccomended by tire shops by using 235s instead of 225's...but hey its up to you.

I m in Montreal so now I think it`s time to buy summer tires or all seasons tires.
I`d prefer follow constructor recomandations, so I think if I can find 225x75x15 tires at low price (I m searchig used tires) , I will put those tire dimensions.
