Default nervous fuel gauge

OK new to forum and I'm sure this has been discussed, but need a fix for this issue asap. Working on 2000 express and the fuel gauge needle vibrates, shakes, etc. Kinda like a nervous twitch. I've eliminated the sending unit, swapped stepper motor with oil pressure gauge motor and even tried different vcm. The wiring is good. The only thing left is the cluster itself. Any aid would be appreciated.

That is the weak point in all Express vans, never seen accurate fuel reader...

Nice to see this discussed - I, too, have a nervous fuel gauge and also spedometer needle shakes. Spedometer is off as far as speed, too - by about 5-7 mph lower.
