Default Roadmaster Steering Stabilizers

Has anybody tried these things? They make two flavours.
There is one for vans with cross members under the engines (RBK17) and one for without (RBK15).

The reviews seem favourable for dealing with front end wobble.

vehicles shouldn't wobble. I would fix it , rather that look for things to bolt on.

I agree with Joe. Rotate wheels and if it still has a wobble . Check air in all tires and treadwear. Alignment can be checked with string in garage to see if it's off. Toe in/camber problem.
Because I was in Houston with all their lovely roads.... I do have a stabilizer I got off

a jeep and went on easily with a hole in crossmember and a clamp. I also run off-road rancho shocks on the front.
Was not for a wobble. My van stays in a straight line when I hit a rough patch.

I have one, not sure which now, but I was changing out the front springs, AirLift 5000 Air Bags for the Rear, and Bilstein’s all around, so I went ahead and switched out the OEM Stabilizer. This is the 3500 Express and converted to a a Roadtrek Campervan...the intent was to raise it About 3”. When it was done, a good wheel alignment was the final thing. It hands great....even the wife wants to drive. I like that heavy Spring in the Roadmaster.

OEM stabilizer? You mean the anti-roll bar.

The OP is talking about steering stabilizers. Different thing.

I say OEM because it was on there when I bought it new....nothing more than a fifth shock. It sure wasn’t a roll bar.

I have never seen GM put a steering stabilizer in a van.

You may not have seen the, bit this is the second 3500 I have had, the first an ‘05 and this ‘15, both with the 6.0 engine. Both were bought brand new as Roadtrek Campervans.

So Roadtrek put them on. Roadtrek is not the Original Equipment Manufacturer.

My van has had an alignment and is in spec, the only thing that may be a problem is the rag joint and pitman arm area. If you wiggle the steering wheel quickly you can get something in that area to clank similar to when it goes into a wobble. Is it possible that less than adequate front shocks could cause this? I did a bunch of work to the van recently and that included changing the shocks to what I feel are not stiff enough.
I would be curious to see what the "newer" Roadtreks came with. Mine is 2004 Popular 190 and it did not have one.
