Thanks for making the post. I purchased the RBK17 hardware and used a universal stabilizer and my 2007 2500. No longer wanders from side to side. Steering is very stable and firm. Installation was quick and easy. Thanks again

No problem. Did you also happen to have the death wobble when applying brakes?

No death wobble during breaking. I had been experiencing shimmy under certain road conditions, Replacing the upper control arms helped for awhile but it slowly returned. The stabilizer has eliminated the issue. Very stable front end and steering.

The stabilizer is most likely just taking up slack in worn out loose parts. Kind of a band-aid solution if you ask me.

No it didn't solve it. It's hiding it, and the problem will most likely come back to bite you.

When you are descending a mountain pass and your steering wheel gets ripped out of your hands you'll wish you had one. Like it or not these vans are prone to this issue and it is very dangerous when it rears its head.

I live in the cascade mountains and I've never had a wobble.

I've also driven a different 2500 through mountains. No wobble.
