Default Stretch fit belt for the A/C compressor

Bought a new belt and the belt tool. The belt tool does not fit with the bolt in it so I guess I need a different one. Aside from that, there’s an electrical connector just above the crank pulley that appears to be in the way and will get hit when the tool passes it while turning the crank. This connector is in such a tight spot that I can’t reach it. Anyone dealt with this?

the belt tensioner will accept standard 1/2" ratchet wrench drive. An ordinary breaker bar will work, or a ratchet with a pipe over the end to extend it.

This is the stretch fit belt from the crank to the a/c compressor, there is no tensioner.

just get the belt started on the leading edge of the pulley, and rotate the crank with a ratchet. It will self-seat. Just like you did as a kid when the chain fell off your bike. Use a cable tie if it's really tight.

I installed the GM belt today, it came with a much different tool. I had everything off the front of the motor which made it super easy. The GM tool worked flawlessly.

The part number of the (AC Delco) belt is 19210691. It comes with the tool. The tool part number is 12620187. I have a 2013 6.0l so you may have a different belt.
