I am trying to add a towing hitch to my 2019 Chevrolet Express 3500LT passenger van. I found this plug which is positioned at the rear bumper but I am unable to determine if this has to do with towing, or find a suitable adapter for standard towing plugs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Is this plug related to towing? Where can I find an adapter?

Thank you Little Bear but none of those utilize the plug I posted in the picture.

 

I would think then that this plug is not part of the tail lights/towing wiring. Looking at the adapters in the link if your truck did not have factory tow wiring then you need to go in and T off of each tail light assembly.

 

Usually you have a round plug 7 pin. I would recommend you to U Haul for this.

 

OP's plug looks like it should plug into a piece similar to the Traverse unit shown, but probably an aftermarket of some sort. Got a you-pull or pick-a-part yard handy? Go out and start looking under bumpers, maybe you'll find the same one on another vehicle.
