That is my suspicion as well. And I had the filter+fluid changed at a tranny shop in June of last year. I'm trying to decide what to do about it. I'm extremely busy with work right now and I'm paying for a rental to commute.

 

fluid starvation would cause it not to move at all.

I had the transmission replaced, and it now shifts better than ever before.

 

What did you replace it with?

 

rebuilt and upgraded 4L60e

 

So something your transmission guy had set you up with rather than a crate trans I take. Glad you have a dependable ride once again.

 

It comes on a pallet.

Judging from the fluid and debris in the pan, the clutch(es) were smoked.
