Default TV, 110v outlet and dvd player problems.

I have a 2003 Express conversion van (Regency) and the tv,110 outlet and the dvd player stopped working a few days ago. I've checked all the fuses in the front and rear that I could find and none of them are blown also the inverter under the sofa was checked and the fuse is also good. Help if you can thank you............

there has to be another fuse panel somewhere. or an accessory relay. did the coach builder give you an additional manual for this? look to see if there is an accessory relay for the socket. If it had a fuse it would be a big fuse, like 30-40 amp.

I am the second owner and the previous owner did not give me the builders manual. I have checked all fuses that can visually be viewwd as blown, I will take your advice and check for a relay problem. Thanks for your help.....

Default At my wits end!

Hey RacerX thanks for the advice about the relays, but I'm sad to say that after changing 3 of them niether had anything to do with the tv,110 outlet or dvd player. Only thing left is to drive it in to the dealer and get my pockets ripped out. Thx for the help anyway......

dont do that just yet, lets spit ball some ideas and see if we can figure out the power source. $110/hour isnt sweet in this economy and since your problem is non essential we can brainstorm some ideas.

lemme get back to you.

Just dawned on me, who built this van? There is usually a name painted somewhere on the body like Gladiator or Explorer or Starcraft or Bally something like that. If you can locate the website of the people who customized it they may send you a pdf of the wiring diagram.

I would take the inverter out and bench test it. Does it have a thermal trip thing that popped out? push it back in. If you are running a flat screen tv there's a good chance it runs on 12 vdc. Maybe you can bypass the inverter.
