My 1st Chevy, and it's a 92' Burb
I am a noob when it comes to chevys and I decided to jump in feet first and purchase a 1992 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 Silverado Edition for the upcoming winter up here in Rhode Island. She's a real beaut and has 155,000 original miles from the original owner. The egine compartment could use some cleaning, but from what I can see, there are no leaks and everything seems to be in order. The interior is showroom condition apart from the fact that the interior lights and stereo do not work as of time of purchase. Looking to get this big girl in shape for winter, any tips and hints for maintenance would be very welcome. She's got the big 5.7L V8 and it sounds and runs strong. Upgrade ideas are also welcome.
I will submit pictures of the big girl soon, registering her this afternoon and dropping her off for a basic road safety assessment at my mechanic.
