Welcome Steen, I read somewhere the 1966 c10 can tow up to 5000lbs which probably close capacity for 63's like yours.

5000 seems like a reasonable number, but that or higher can be better handled when...

You use good stiff tires, "E" load rated...
Make sure your ride is as level as possible (booster springs/shocks)...
Install Anti-Sway or Load Distributing eqp...
Keep the weight forward on/in your trailer...
Don't overload the hitch...

Anything you can do to make your ride "overly" capable is in your favor.
Safety is a lot more important than how much you can pull.
What are you going to tow, equipment/travel ?

Hey Chevy Buddies .. Thanks for the reply . it sounds good , but unfortunately I can not use the answer as documentation for our authorities ..
Here in Denmark is there a law that determines how much a vehicle is allowed to tow . if i cant prove it . authorities take half of the vehicle's own weight ,
And it will be the tow weight , i'ts about 800 kg . is not enough .
i need ( if it is there ) some document proving it is legal two tow up to 5000 lbs . i really dont have to tow that much. but nice to have on the registration..

Hope you can read/understand what i wrote.
Thanks Again...

Hi SWHouston.
I have tried this, my truck is with 11 letters in win number:
3C144B117411
i know for real the engine is a 230 cui 6l.
now i have 350/350.
my truck is approved with 350 cui, by Danish law, no problem in that..

I have read on the website. I didn't find nothing concrete:

I must continue to look for it
Thanks Again...
