Question 1970 3/4 ton truck 350 engine

Hi all,

I have just been given a 1970 Chevy 350 truck engine (122,000 original miles) by my Dad and am looking to put that engine into a car with the ability to readily mount. The idea is to optimize the power-to-weight ratio. Are there any recommendaitons? Dad spoke of a Vega, Monza, and S-10. The first two are difficult to find. Is there something that can handle that engine (a Cavalier for instance)?

Thanks,
Travis

The S-10 would be the easy way to go, but they are on the heavy side.

Thanks guys. I've decided to go with the car that I really want, a 1980's body style Camaro. Genuine muscle. Unless there are suggestions for a smaller rear-wheel drive car. I'm also starting to research the 350 and the Camaro models. I just don't know where to start. Can some one lead me in the right direction(s)?

The S-10 would be the easy way to go. s10, vega, monza there is a kit. Novas, camaros also weigh in the 3000-3200 pound range. Front wheel drive is a big forget it.
