Default 1976 350 engine swap to a 89 350 engine

I want to swap an 89 350 into my 76 pickup. The pickup has the original 350/350 combination. Is there a source for data on this swap?
Thanks in advance.

The old truck has Chevy TBI with a basic harness in place of the carburetor so I would use that if it will bolt up to the new engine intake. Was even more concerned if the new block would fit in place of the old one and whether I will have issues with the bell housing and flywheel connecting to the 350 trans in the old truck. Any information is appreciated.

Sweet, you are good till 95,vortec heads have a different intake bolt pattern, but,I think 78 was the swap of sides for oil dipstick tube,so, exhaust manifolds with the same motor will make life easier

Vortec, got to switch all wiring again,obd2,but you could buy a hibrid intake manifold, vortec head to tbi, that said, vortec heads are far better than previous

How about the flywheel, motor mounts and bell housing? I can make just about any manifold adapter I will need.
