Default 1993 GMC 350 tbi issues

Hi all. I have a 1993 GMC K2500 with a 350 tbi. When it is cold, it runs really rough as soon as I give it any throttle. If I ease into the throttle, it seems to work ok, but the second i give too much it starts to miss and has no power at all. Idle seems to be fairly smooth so this has got me stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Tim

timing off, fuel filter clogged, egr valve maybe, idle air control (iac). have you checked for any codes?

maxxman is right, either your timing is not advancing correctly, you don't have enough fuel pressure or you have too much air. Make sure the spark is hot as well, but if it runs smooth at idle I don't think that's the problem.

It hasn't thrown any codes yet. Changed the fuel filter just after problem started. Gonna try EGR today, Ill update after, but i am starting to think that it is either the EGR or the IAC. Thanks for the replies guys.
