1993 S-10 shuts off when engine warms up
My S-10 will crank up fine when the engine is cold but as soon as it get to operating temperature is starts acting up and after a little while it shuts down. After it cools back off it will crank right up again and run until it heats back up. It is a 4.3 liter engine. I looked down into the throttle body and I can't see any fuel getting through. I changed the fuel filter and the IAC valve recently but that didn't help. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Henry

Don't know if it's like my 93 5.7 but the ignition module in the distributor has done this to me three times in 340k miles. Heat is it's enemy! My mechanic says they are good for about 70-100k mi. I remember the 1st time I couldn't see fuel like you describe but could pour some in the throttle body and keep it running. Module apparently fires the injectors.
Hope that helps!
