Default 1997 K2500 Suburban 8.1 swap

Hey guys, I had a couple questions I can't seem to find the answer to for my swap.
I just bought a 2002 8.1 truck so I have a full donor
My burb is a 1997 K2500 5.7L.
Most of the swaps I've read about are older and required transmission upgrades or major mods.

I'm fairly certain my 4L80E should work for the swap but I can't seem to figure out if I need any adapters or sleeves to make it correct. Or the converter....should I have a higher stall rating for the big block and extra power?

Any help would be great. The wiring I can take care of, I'm going to basically re-use everything from the truck, but as you know, the truck has an Allison which I don't want to use.

Im just swapping my 5.7 for the 8.1

I don’t want to use the Allison trans, I’d rather keep my 4L80E if possible.

why would you grind the frame? From my reading the early 8.1L has the same footprint as the 454 and bolt holes already in place for mounts.
