I have a 2000 impala with the dual driver/passenger temperature control.When I leave work the a/c does not cool as fast as it should but when I stop at a red light after 10 miles it works fine. Also the passenger side is about 10 degrees cooler than the drivers side. There is a noise like a vacuum leak that only happens when the a/c is on:
