I just got a 2008 Impala LTZ. It looks great so I want to be careful and not do any harm to the wheels which I think are factory originals. I want to hand Polish or wax them but can't tell if they are alloys or something else. Any suggestions??

Thanks. When you get a chance please let me know what you think. If aluminum I want to first spray aluminum wheel cleaner on them and then when dry I will either use Mothers or Meguiar wax.
