Default 350 rebuild

New to engine building, looking to rebuild a 350 for my friend. He bought a brand new aluminum intake and supposedly new heads too. If I am doing a top end rebuild, do I have to buy a new cam, springs, and valves to accommodate the aluminum heads? Or can I save and use the stock springs, valves, rockers, pushrods, and cam? Thanks, Kevin
