Default cost to rebuild a 350.

I will do all the tear down and rebuild just wondering with new pistons rings and machine work what could someone expect to pay. Its just an old 350 small block in a 63 gmc. It does run it is just tired and leaks oil like crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

Also on my 2000 silverado with the 5.3 everytime i fill the tank it will spit and sputter and act like it is going to die. The only time it does this is when i fill my tank full. I've already replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter and also the fuel pressure regulator. I have also done a pressure check and the injectors do not leak, any ideas?

Default rebuild

depends how much of the work you can do your self ,and how much you have to have done.but it could run between 800.00 and 1200.00
depending on how much goodies you add on.might want to see how much a long block would be .

only thing i can say is a vent problem in the tank or the gas cap .

When you fill up, do you try to get it rounded off to even money? Fill it to the brim? Smell gas in the passenger compartment after you drive away?

Overfilling the tank floods the evaporative cannister, which gives the expansion gasses in your tank nowhere to go.
