I built a 383 stroker for my manual transmission 86 k10. Specs are an 89 hydraulic roller block, eagle rotating assemble, 906 vortec heads, .458 lift 206/210 duration comp cam. And a 625 cfm street demon carburetor.
My problem is that the motor pulls hard in 1st-2nd but when I hit 3rd (1-1 gear as it’s a 4 speed with a granny gear and no overdrive) at WOT it pretty much levels out at about 2,300 rpm and won’t accelerate any farther. I thought it was a fuel problem but I have a mechanical fuel pump that’s supposed to pump 115gph so I’m not sure, any help would be greatly appreciated.
