Default 4l60e shift solenoids?

My suburban has an intermitent quirk on take off at normal throttle pressure. It acts like it's still in high gear and has to get back to low. Usually like a 1-2 second deal but an unsettling quirk. Any opinions?

BTW, after that momentary quirk it shifts normally with no slippage or anything unusual.

Do you have a 1st gear selection? Does it act the same?

Do you feel it downshifting into first when coming to a stop?

How many miles and how's the fluid? black? red?

Have all gears manually. Truck has 160k. Fluid changed about 30k ago, still clean and red.

Now that I think about it. It's when I make a fast type stop and not a coast down stop. It will shift down on its own then. Quick stop it will occasionally do this no matter how long I'm at a light.

So slam it into 1st and then back to drive and see what happens.

Sounds more like a deceleration problem, not a 1 to 2 problem????

No, like I said. It's intermittent. I don't think beating on it is the answer. I see they have a kit with all new sensors on ebay. Maybe that's the next step.
