Default 4L60E Trans In Limp Mode

I have a 1996 Tahoe 4x4 5.7L

I have been trying to figure it out for over a year now, but my trans is in limp mode. Still shifts into over drive sometimes for a couple of seconds ???? I’m throwing “shift solenoid b electrical”. It went into limp mode a couple of days after the ujoints at the rear diff blew & drive shaft fell out of diff mount. ANYTHING that points me in the direction of what it is causing limp mode in my Tahoe would be amazing! I’ve done everything except taking it to a dealership.
