4T65E AWD Transmission 0742 code
Have read a bit about this code, it seems it could just be dirty fluid. However, upon start up, trans works fine, then after driving for a few minutes, loses traction. Then, if shut motor off, then restart, it works again. This doesn't sound like something mechanical, maybe electrical....certainly sounds like the solenoid does work correctly, just malfunctions periodically.
Will of course try and flush before doing anything else. Any ideas on what could cause this periodic failure?? Thanks in advance for any help.
