new forum member, I know someone has come across this noise before. I have 2000, 2500 4x4 Chevy Silverado, with a 6.0 engine, which has 215,000 miles on it. great truck but I have a knocking noise inside the engine, I have replaced cam, timing chain and gear, lifters, all belts and there pullies. someone told me that Chevy had a problem with these engines a while back really don't want to pull the engine down if there is a quick fix, this is been going on for about 2 years now. has great oil pressure, pick and go. when I pulled the heads off the heads were real clean to include the top side of the engine, oil and filter has been changed every 6000 miles with 5w30. NEED HELP
