69 Impala questions
Hi. I hope to find some help here regarding my '69 Impala Custom Coupe.
My car is dropped in the front and I want to get it back to factory height, but I'm not sure if the front spindles are drop spindles or factory spindles, as the drop is not done properly. The coils are dropcoils and the struts too, but the spindles I'm not sure of. How can I check that, before spending money on a set of new factory spindles, coils and struts?
The car has manual drumbrakes and 14 inch wheels and a 327 2bbl.
I have measured the spindles, and the distance is approx. 270mm/10.5inches from the upper side of the top to the upper side of the bottom brackets, and thats all I have. Are they drop or stock spindles ?
Thanks for any help I can get.
Regards, Stig.
