Default 92 K1500 starts great but stalls immediately

I have 92 K1500 5.7 with about 230,000 miles. It starts fine but dies immediately. It starts right back up, but dies again. After I go through this about 25 times or so, the thing starts and runs fine. It will start back and run if you shut it off as long as it's still warm. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors, coil, ignition module, cap, rotor, and coolant sensor.

This is a plow truck; it also has a dead battery but I have been jumping it during the fixes that I have made. Also note the battery would not take a charge from the battery charger. Not sure if the alternator is messed up but the plow was mistakenly left connected to the battery over the summer.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, as I am about to dig a hole and bury the darn thing.

first i would verify that the alternator will charge then replace the battery ,it may not be putting out any juice to support running the engine .

I have a 90 k1500 p.u.. I had the same problem. It would run for 10-30 min then die without even a sputter. I changed out the ignition coil and wire. Both were worn and the coil was pitted from arcing. She run like a champ now.

New to GM's but if you have a crank sensor or cam sensor, you may want to check them out. Especially the cam sensor.
