Default 98 K1500 taking a leak

Yesterday my 98 Suburban was over heating when I got home. Not driving it hard or anything. I checked the water level and seeing it low, added some, before I got it filled it was spilling to the ground. It appeared to be coming from around the passenger side of the head. I checked the oil and it appears to be clean(no water). Not sure if it has busted a head gasket or intake gasket. I guess there is really know way of knowing until I open it up. Guess I'm just asking if anyone has any suggestions, before I tear into it.

Also, there was no prior sign of over heating or anything. Granted it is an almost 15 years old. I would have expected to see some signs of overheating 1st.

That sounds like a bad head gasket...
