Default 99 tahoe died

I was driving my tahoe down the street and the engine shut off going about 45 mph. The same thing happened to me in my s-10 blazer and it was the fuel pump. I bought a fuel pressure gauge hooked it up turned the key and it jumped to about 4.5 bar. then went down to just above 4 bar. is that enough pressure or does anyone have other suggestions.

I would see what fuel pressure your car calls for first if you havent already done so. I know for my car my fuel pressure has to be 5.5-6 psi so I would imagine you would need more for a truck or SUV. Im not sure tho...

What happens to the pressure reading when the engine starts and the rpms are at around 1000 - 1500 ?
