Default adapter for carburator

hey all. first you should know that i don't know beans about cars. i got a 350 motor and a brand new edelbrock carburetor. the carboretor apparently has 4 mouths while the 350 has 2 mouths. i was told a would need an adapter between the 2 mouths of one and the 4 mouths of the other. Now, if I have had my leg pulled and none of these things have mouths then please forgive me. but if there is any truth to it would you give me a hand and help me out? i need to know what i gotta buy to put that carb on my truck.
thank you so much

Welcome from Florida. Sounds like you are switching from a 2 barrel carb to a 4 barrel carb. If this is true then you will need an adapter to fit the new 4 barrel carb to the 2 barrel manifold. Don't forget the gaskets.

I believe you will have to change the intake manifold.

thanks, Florida. is this something I can pick up at an auto store? is it difficult to install? I'm not a mechanic but I don't mind getting dirty. I'll give it a try. thanks again

Check this one out. It might work if your old 2 barrel carb has 4 bolt mounting. Call them and double check before buying.
