Default A/C Problem

I have a blend door question. After looking at a bunch of exploded diagrams online I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. This past winter my defrost blend motor stopped working and luckily it was the one that’s easy to change by the center duct. Now I’m having what I think is the other door not closing off the heat side when the A/C is on with the recirculating vent open. When you hit the button to make it recirculate it gets cold. Is there a door somewhere that I’m missing because the one shown on the bottom passenger side in the diagram isn’t on my truck. I can see where it would be but its not cut. I’m just asking here to see if anyone knows if this is a common problem. I forgot where I saw the diagrams but I probably just googled it. I really don’t want to take all that airbag crap out for no reason.
Thanks.

On my 1998 K-1500 Chevy 4x4 there are supposedly three actuators. The one I had to change out was the easy one above the gas pedal. Easy to get off with 5.5mm socket but a bear to get the one closest to the firewall, back in. Using a magnetized socket I finally got it back in without stripping the plastic climate control box. The other two look really hard to get to, but certainly possible. I'll have to try to find a schematic on the 2007 actuator locations to Dx this issue. I never use the the recirculating vent, but it still works.

I found this Youtube video that might help you to replace your climate control actuator. The actuator on my 98 K-1500 is nowhere near this location, but of course, nothing ever stays the same:

Thanks. That’s the one I changed this winter. However I see in a related thread someone with a very similar issue. Good forum.

OK. It’s on the top inside the dash. I wonder of GM will give me a new air bag since it’s in a recall. I guess I’ll get the recall done at the dealership which I dread. Then take it out and change the actuator. PITA. Or. or I might just leave the airbag light on till it burns out.🤷🏻‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
