Default Call me an idiot with lifter failure

I have a 92 s10 with a 350 in it and I wanted to up it some so I put a comp cam in it with heavy springs. I didn’t do break in right at all. So instead of throwing more money away I’m asking the smart guys of the internet to help. Two of my lifters were ground down with the cam so I trashed a 300 dollar cam and lifters. I have no problem buying a new cam and lifters but my problem is I have heavy springs comp p#981-16 Rated 373. And I have no idea what to do to save my new cam and lifters. Any ideas?
