Default Car audio

I’ve recently been trying to install an aftermarket stereo, amplifier and sub in a 2009 Chevy Malibu. I have it all connected and it powers on and sounds good. But, there is no audio coming from the front door speakers. The speakers themselves work, as they worked before I tried installing the new stereo. I believe it has something to do with my factory wiring harness, the right and left audio wires. They were both frayed and the wire was exposed. I went ahead and replaced them with wire and connectors I found on a similar model car and stereo wiring harness in a junkyard. Still no sound

not sure why this happen, but I think you can refer the instruction on crutchfield to figure out the issue. Good luck
