Thanks for the help. Jumping the car definitely worked. Car started and keys came out the ignition.

Default Chevy 2012 sonic lt

Battery dead, keys stuck, and tried to jump but the battery is completely dead. Planning to change battery on my own with the keys still stuck. Any advise?

Default Same issue

Idk if this forum is still active. But I have a 2010 Chevy Cruze and the key keeps getting stuck in the ignition and the car dies. I get a jump and it works for a few days then the radio starts turning on and off while I’m driving, check stabilitrak keep flashing on and off while driving and autozone did a test and said everything looks fine. Any suggestions?

  • 2011
  • Cruze
  • Starts no power issues
  • Won't go to position A to release the key
  • I've wiggle and tugged and pulled at the key while back and forth with the steering wheel no luck
