Car won't start
I have a 2008 cobalt and the key won't turn. The security light flashes. Do I need to turn off the security system to get the key to turn or is the battery in the keyless entry fob low making the key not turn? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Your ignition key in the LOCK/OFF position also locks the steering column. Conversely, sometimes this locking mechanism can interfere with the key turning toward RUN. Try jiggling the steering wheel while turning the key.
