Angry Chirping noise 5.7 liter

Hi all, first time to this site looks very informative.
2000 c/k 2500 5.7 liter. Chirping noise only after it warms up, chirping noise with serpentine belt OFF. Chirping is constant and loud, people look at me at red lights. Chirping accelerates with engine speed and does it whether in park or driving. With stethoscope sound comes from rear of engine around distributor, bell housing, starter, torque converter area. Tranny shifts fine while driving. Just replaced the whole distributor and chirp is still here. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Do you still have the cover for the torque converter?
It sounds like your flywheel is rubbing on something. Starter Bendix retracting fully?

Yes cover is on torque converter. I will take it off and check for something rubbing. The starter does retract fully into its housing. Thanks
