I’m Kevin , I have a 1991 Silverado.
Recently LS swapped it and decided to put an AC kit in it. The AC line is super cold even sweating water cause it’s cold. Very minimal cold air but not that much. Anyone know how to fix it or what’s wrong with it?

What did you do to it exactly? What are your high ans low pressures? Did you vacuum it down? Did you use R-134A?

We added everything brand new.
New condenser
New evaporator
New lines
New compressor
Bracket and belt
Vacuum and charge.
I’m not sure about the pressure numbers. When I took my truck back to the mechanic he said the pressure numbers were still the same where he left them.

Yes, truck was vacuumed.
He used Freon.
We used to use the term "Freon" back when R-12 was used, but now since R-12 is illegal in the US, we use the term name such as R-134A or the newer R-1234YF. Do you know which he used? Also R-12 used mineral oil, which isn't compatible with R-134A or R-1234YF. The lubricant used is PAG oil in grades 46, 100 or 150. But since all these components were replaced it's not an issue. Did he change the receiver-drier? It looks like a large can. Likely he did as they are cheap. The main issue is that you are not getting cold air into the cabin. Have you explained this issue to the mechanic?
Yes we changed the receiver drier. He said at this point it’s probably something inside like the core? The air is probably the same as the ambient air just a tad colder.

By "Core" Does he mean the evaporator? That is in the climate control box under the dash.Did he work on that??

Yes most likely. No he did not work on that part of the truck.
That is normally where the evaporator is located. It is the portion of the A/C system that puts out the cold air. You mentioned that the evaporator was changed, but that's not possible if the climate control box wasn't touched. Can you feel any coolness by placing your hand on the CC box while the A/C is on.? Is your fan running properly when on?
