contact numbers??
Does anyone have an idea where I can get a good contact number for GM? My truck in in the dealer for what seemed to be an easy re-programming of the fuel control module, and now they are telling me they have no idea why it's not running. They have had the truck 3 days and are trying to tell me I owe 430.00 in diagnostic charges so far and they still do not know what is wrong!!!!!! I need help please.........

I called the 1-800 number and they are trying to help. They set up a case for me, and I HOPE I get my truck back soon, it's been there for 6 days now!!! The dealer is giving me every excuse in the book, from a bad control module, (which they replaced and it STILL doesn't run),to a bad PCM, ECM, short in a wire, bad fuel pump.....NOW the service writer says to me, and I quote...." If it was so easy, YOU would have it figured out!!!"
THIS is horrible service and I would NOT ever reccomend Glen Campbell Chevy in Amherst NY!!!!!!!
Update.... Dealer FINALLY thinks they have the problem....a bad connector to the fuel control module. It only took 4 1/2 days and many calls to GM Engineering dept. to get this resolved. I hope it is the problem, since I do not have my truck back yet, who knows what else they may determine is a problem, they said fuel system control mod was bad, then it wasn't, then they thought it was PCM, and then ECM. keeping my fingers crossed.....

I understand, and I will update tomorrow.
Here is the latest, NOW the dealer is giving me a line of BS, again!!! They are claiming that an engineer from GM came to the dealership to look at my truck, and he states that I needed a new FSCM, AGAIN, that'll be the third one installed. I find it hard to believe! They said that the eletrical engineers said to "just put in a PCM to see if that works". But they claimed they found a connector that was bad, if and I mean IF that was the problem, WHY would they replace a fuel control module that is NOT defective????? So as it stands now, my bill is OVER $800.00!!!!!! I am most definetely going to the attorney general if this does not get resolved quickly! My truck has been there a week today.
I got my truck back today from Glen Campbell Chevrolet in Amherst NY, I will NEVER EVER recommend them even for an oil change!! It cost me 469.66 for diagnostics and a wire repair on my truck, and when I went to leave, the check engine light is on!!!!!! The service writer then has the ***** to tell me,"we don't send vehicles out with check engine lights on"!!! I offered for him to take a walk to see it for himself, but the idiot declined. He then made the mistake of saying out loud in front of me, " I don't really want to even touch that F'n truck anymore!!!" Well after that I went to the owner and stated my case, they will look at it Monday morning.... This is really getting old here. More updates to follow, I wish this was a bad dream, but then again I am not that imaginative..
