Default Cylinder Missfire

Hello
So Im working on a 2001 Chevy Suburban with a 5.3 vortec. The CEL came on with a pO301.
You could feel it miss-firing bad. When this happens, I have no spark on Cyl 1. I have not checked the other cyls when this happens. The problem comes and goes. Will miss for 5 minutes then be good for hours. I tested the coil for cyl 1. It's fine. THe connector has good 12v power and the ground wire has 0ohm resistance to ground. Could the CKP sensor be failing and cause symptoms like this? Now the truck is running fine and I cant get it to miss-fire. Maybe tomorrow morning it will want to act up for me. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks
