Dome light problems

hi everyone,I have a 99 silverado 5.3L auto 4x4.the truck currently has 176,000 miles.I just started having trouble with the dome light it wont shut off unless i hit the dome override button.Any sugestions?

I'd say pull the front lip of the dash off and look at the switch and check the wires to see if any are cracked at all.
